The 4′ x 4′ 12cm Balance Beam Mat is designed for competition use to provide required landing and dismount protection around balance beam fillers. This mat meets USA Gymnastics event requirements and is intended for placement at the end of the beam and in under-beam areas where compliant padding is required.
Manufactured with competition-grade materials and hand-sewn construction, this mat delivers firm, consistent performance suitable for competitive gymnastics environments.
Hook-and-loop fasteners are located on the top of two sides, allowing the mat to securely connect to adjacent 4′ x 4′ balance beam mats or larger competition landing mats to create a stable and continuous landing surface.
USA Gymnastics Note: Per USA Gymnastics rules and policies, balance beam dismount matting must include a minimum of 4 feet by 4 feet of padding between the end of the beam and the under-beam matting.
